Ellsworth's East Coast representative. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Though we do not have much room in our apartment, we do have a balcony that we decided to turn into a jungle. The start of it is 19 orchids, several pots of herbs, 2 palms, several other house-type plants, and a cactus garden. These first two are Phaleanopsis. Orchids. The one on the right I bought for Patricia for Valentine's Day. The red flowers above are froma a Cattleya. This is a Phaeis. The last is one of 8 Dendrobium.

Monday, March 21, 2011. Look what I got in the mail! Becky has recently gone on a gluten free diet and decided to surprise me with some of her homemade GF treats. I don't eat a lot of sweets and normally when I'm craving something sweet I eat some raisins. Well for the next week or so I will be chowing down on lemon squares, oatmeal spice cookies, coconut bars, and pumpkin cookies! How cool is that? Becky truly is the best! Friday, November 05, 2010. The second is a teen romance with a X-Men/mutant twist. The one I am writing now, my 5th screenplay, is a modern-day retelling of Smeagol, Gollum and the ring with a little bit of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Picture of Dorian Gray. I am currently on page 42. Once I'm finished with a few of these suckers I will start pounding the pavement. According to the pros I need to have three totally completed and 7 more ready to pitch. Thursday, February 04, 2010. I wrote this to explain why I liked the movie Million Dollar Baby. Fast breaking news breaks from a family of seven living in the Urban Sprawl of Seattle. Thursday, January 31, 2013. We ended 2012 atop the snowy summits at Ensign Ranch and slunk dejectedly back into our routines of school and work. January is kind of a bummer month in Washington; it's coldish and rainy and dark and rarely snowy. To brighten up the drudgery, Joe and I were invited by some friends to "Manilow on Ice" in the middle of the month. There were crafts . . . And of course all sorts of water fun.
