Vermont Photographer: What do apples have to do with choosing a photographer?
http://vermontphotographer2.blogspot.com/2015/05/what-do-apples-have-to-do-with-choosing.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. What do apples have to do with choosing a photographer? You work so hard to put together the perfect wedding. So many details fall or are wrestled into place. All those people coming together.each one invited for a reason. And then there's the cost.don't get me started on the cost! I created a guide so you can ask the right questions and compare apples to apples as far as features go. You can get that right here. But what about quality? Are you seeing THAT photographers work? Some ...

Vermont Photographer: July 2011
http://vermontphotographer2.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. This recent wedding was unique in a lot of ways. First the families: the bride's family spoke French and the groom's family spoke Spanish. Then the bride and groom who are both in the service. Being ex-army myself, I have a soft spot for soldiers. It is so hard to balance being in the military and being in a family and my hat is off to the people who can make it work. The ceremony took place at St. Mary's overlooking Lake Memphramagog. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Wedding at the Alerin.

Vermont Photographer: East Side, Newport

Monday, September 3, 2012. East Side, Newport. There is a saying: "Live, Laugh, Love" that you find on plaques and signs that you can buy to remind you of the important things in life. This family should have that saying on their family crest.heck, they probably are who it was written about! I don't think I've been to a wedding where there was so much laughter and love. The little flower girls were literally flowers. Kim and her son look so happy as they make their way to the ceremony. East Side, Newport.

Monday, August 25, 2014. Wedding on the Cheap. Sometimes I get a little concerned about where weddings are going in the United States. Here is a young couple (usually) starting their lives with a very expensive party. Throwing themselves into debt or having to save for years and put off their wedding until they can amass the small fortune to throw a wedding. The average wedding, we are told, cost's $30,000.00. That's a nice down-payment on a house! Flowers: For the bride, white roses. For the tables:...

Sunday, September 14, 2014. Rainy Day Wedding at the Alerin, St. Johnsbury Vt. Nobody wants rain on their wedding day, but if it must rain, the Alerin in St. Johnsbury is a great place to be. The ceremony had wonderful diffused light and the many umbrellas that stand ready kept everyone nice and dry. The wedding took place in the new Pavilion. What a perfect place- with views of horn-pout pond and lush lawns, you get the best of both worlds. A nice dry roof and an outdoor wedding. Heaven forbid it rains ...

Vermont Photographer: December 2010
http://vermontphotographer2.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 1, 2010. This wedding was up in Burlington. The new Catholic ceremony that I'm seeing more and more really makes pictures hard as the Bride and Groom spend the entire ceremony with their backs to everyone. But, a wedding is not about the pictures and there was plenty of time to get great pictures afterwards in different locations. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Thursday, February 17, 2011. My new coffee table style album has a proofing method a little different from what I usually do.I love it. Your book is presented through an interface that makes it seem like you are turning the pages on an actual book. Go here to see what I mean:. Monday, March 21, 2011. Getting Good Photos. what YOU can do. First of all, make sure your dress is comfortable! You will be so much happier and have so much more fun. Do not tan right before your wedding! Tanning can make you look like an oompah loompah on film and if the groom is ruddy and the bride is golden there is no adjustment that will help. If you must tan, do it a week or more before the wedding. Try a seaweed wrap or massage instead of tanning if you need to relax. Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

Vermont Photographer: November 2010
http://vermontphotographer2.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. East Side, Newport Wedding. I'm always thrilled when a wedding is at a place that I know will do a fantastic job. Dee Ann at the East Side in Newport Vermont runs such a place. It's always the people you can count on rather than the location and Dee Ann knows how to run a party. After dinner and drinks the B&G slipped away for their photos. The grounds at the East Side gave us a lot of options, as you can see. The dancing never stopped. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
