Monday, September 27, 2004. Anecdote - 1st attempt at haircut. Today I attempted to cut Donald's hair myself. All the while, we bring him to The Salon - Georgie Yam, to get his hair cut by Uncle Eddie. It was quite a feat, I did not accidently cut him, but cut my finger instead! I had to chase him around the bathroom. that's why. Well, he doesn't like the electric shaver, so I stuck to the good ol' scissors and fingers. :). It has always been our dream to make a trip to see God's Holy Land - Israel. We said we must go there once before Jesus comes back. We thought it would be a faraway dream, when suddenly this option was available readily. Thanks to Word of Life - Rev Ulf Ekman and his team, linking up with City Harvest Church, we were able to go on a pilgrimage cum study tour to the Holy Land from 14 Jun - 23 Jun 2005. This is also Donald's 2nd overseas trip. He was the youngest asian pilgrim for this trip.

Day 8 - Gathering of the Boats. We went out to sea, had a gathering of the boats in the middle of the sea of Galilee, and Pst Ulf shared a word with us. It was like in the bible when they gathered the boats a little out at sea, and Jesus shared from it, to the multitudes on the shore.hmmm. either Jesus must have had a really loud voice, or the acoustic must be really good!
