God's Fingerprints: April 2012
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. For us, it has been painful beyond our previous experience, difficult to understand. We have cried, vented angry feelings, prayed up many a storm, and talked it over for hours and hours. We don't know why God has allowed this to happen, but we trust that He is good, that He is in control and that He has a better plan for us and for our church family. So You're wondering. The project? God's Fingerprints: A Hard Decision
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-hard-decision.html
Monday, June 3, 2013. It is enough to just about pay the rest of what we owe on the taxes. Yup. So I've been wrestling. Is it being a good steward of the money the Lord has provided to let it sit in a drawer while we have a big bill? Or does it really matter? Or since I've ear marked that money and it's built up over a long period of time is it OK for me to just keep it, and continue to save for our trip and try to find another way to pay the bill? If we use it to pay the taxes? June 4, 2013 at 6:43 AM.

God's Fingerprints: Keepin' it Real
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2013/05/keepin-it-real.html
Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Maybe I'm alone in this. Maybe not. I have an admission. I lack self- discipline and internal motivation. There. I said it. Like my title. I'm just keepin' it real. Think what you like. Specifically, I'm referring to housework (Well, and phone calls. I abhor making business type phone calls. Ask Reid. I don't even like to call in for pizza. What's with that? Be thankful that you CAN do housework and have a well working body to do it with! Come on, self! She and our friend Becky p...

God's Fingerprints: December 2012
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 2, 2012. What's Next for the Kisling Family. Wow It's been months since I have posted on this blog! What I've discovered is that it is very difficult to write when one is in the midst of a difficult time. It's too easy to write something one shouldn't write. It's too hard to write honestly during such a time without laying completely bare one's hurts for the world to see. I'm not saying one should not be real, but some things are better left unwritten. :). While at a board meeting in Col...

God's Fingerprints: Attitude of Gratitude Part 1
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2014/09/attitude-of-gratitude-part-1.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Attitude of Gratitude Part 1. After reading that book, I kept a gratitude journal for a while. In fact, I posted two different blog lists of thankfulnesses back in 2011, and if I was computer savvy, I would post the links to those lists right here. But alas, I lack the skills to accomplish that task, at least until Reid gets home tonight :). That would be overwhelming! The first 100. (Which, if I were to count the old posts from 2011, would actually be 300-400.). 38 Breaks ...

God's Fingerprints: February 2013
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. Oh, the irony! Earlier this morning I posted this on Face Book:. The longer I live, the more I recognize that I am in the passenger seat on this journey called life, and GOD is in the driver's seat. He sets the course, He leads the way, He shows me where He's taking me. It makes life a whole lot better when I live in light of this, and don't try to trade places with Him! Take note - it doesn't come naturally! Go, go, go! And planned to do my grocery shopping in McMinnvil le.

God's Fingerprints: January 2014
http://momssongbird.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. A Look Back at 2013. I finally have some time to sit and reflect on 2013, and it seems two main themes followed us closely throughout the year - transitions and God's provision. 2013 was full of both for us! The Lord took care of us beyond our expectation, and we enjoyed a season where we were well provided for and Reid was home quite a bit. Which brings me to another transition. Once we have a 3rd car working (come on Reid and Cam! Almost done rebuilding that engine! Cameron ...

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Life Lessons. From a Rooster. But, oh no. Not in this family. A certain daughter of ours loves her chickens and decided that if we were to eat "Jazz Man" (name changed from Jasmine for obvious reasons) she would never eat chicken again. A little dramatic, I know, but you get the idea. They would love to take him! And they wouldn't eat him! And they wouldn't sell him - at least not anytime soon! And the kids can go and see him anytime they want! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
