A selection of designs from previous collections. Bird of Paradise bag. Iona style silk painted evening bag lined with silver handles. This is the 12" ceiling shade. Also available as a table lampshade in a range of shapes and sizes. These silk scarves are colourfast and handwashable. You can buy them here. This is a more modern square design, also available in a range of sizes. Orange Daisy silk bag. The Iona bag with distinctive orange gerbera daisies. Silk scarves soft and luxurious to wear.

Silk painting workshops 2016. 2 days from 10.30-4.30pm. Materials and lunch provided. Suitable for beginners and advanced. Maximum 3 participants per workshop. In this time frame all participants will be able to practice the technique and complete a project such as a scarf or lampshade, tie etc. Studio sessions hire the studio, materials and me. A 3 hour session for you and your friends. A 6 hour session for you and your friends. Can be taken as one day or two 3 hour sessions. At a venue of your choice.

Each is a one off work of art. I have handpainted each piece of silk before transforming it into bags, brooches and scarves. This bag is made from hand-painted silk and lined with rich taffeta. It is practical and also a little bit of wearable art. Approximately 25 x 20cm and very roomy inside. The bag can be sponge cleaned and also dry cleaned. The handle can be easily removed if neccessary. These scarves are handpainted on lightweight silk, are 180 x 45cm. Handwash or dryclean only.

Current Season - Spring and Summer 2015. I have two new collections - Geometry and Dragonfly. All my bags are made from silk which is hand painted with acid dyes, which is then steamed to increase colour vibrancy and make the silk washable. They are constructed with a firm interface which gives them a structural quality. The evening bags are lined with high quality taffeta. The handle is a quirky metal design,which can be removed or have a strap attached. As each is hand painted they will vary slightly.
