I’m reminding myself of something that kept me from being thankful this Thanksgiving weekend. I had forgotten that my emotions are not reliable. I’m now reminding myself that ANY feeling of lack denies the truth of God’s promise to provide it for me. It can be lack of peace, provision, or any insecurity. I know Philippians 4:19! Doing Things with My Father. Father and I do things together. It’s a Father/Daughter thing. We do things like sanctifying things. He gives me something good, I receive it thankfully, and I declare that it is now set apart for His use. Then His power comes upon my new gift to really bless it! It turns out to be a blessing to Father, and to me. And it even blesses other people! Check out James 1:17, 1 Timothy 4:3-5 and Matthew 15:32-38. Try it with your Father! You Need Joy Today!
