Other Side of the Road. June 26, 2014. It was difficult to think with the noisy complaining in my heart. My heart wanted to run away but my mind elected to remain. Sadly, I looked around in dread-filled anticipation. I screamed loudly into my mind, “Haven’t we been here before? Will anyone hear me this time? 8221; A thousand times if one I have broached the subject of the other side of the road and it has fallen on deaf ears every time. Why is there such a NO in the eyes of my family? Why must I fear?

Other Side of the Road Part 3. July 15, 2014. Our parents were faithful to teach us how to make good choices. We had options presented to us from a very young age so we grew up knowing how to make decisions and so we started working early on to earn funds for college. We could not believe that we were going to get to model – it was like a warm drink of milk before bed. So exciting and so refreshing! Who knew that in time our unity would be divided and pride would take the front seat in our relationship.
