Monday, March 23, 2009. Donna has been moved to the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, room 307. Visiting hours are 8am-9pm. Baylor Institue for Rehabiliation. 909 N Washington Ave. Dallas, TX 75275. Donna moved to Baylor today. I will update the blog with room number, phone number, and visiting hours as soon as I have the information. Saturday, March 21, 2009. Donna moved to Richardson Tower. Monday, March 9, 2009. Yesterday was the first time the entire family agreed that the old Donna is back mentally. The classic Donna facial expressions and the look in her eyes has returned completely. If it weren't for the tubes that are still connected for precautionary reasons, she would be talking fluidly. This weekend she was reading and writing notes back and forth to us. The delay in moving to a Rehab facility has been due to some medicine issues that will hopefully be resolved soon. The Thomason family is praying everyday for Donna. If she is ready for visitors this weekend, we would like to come see her. It was great that Kate saw Nikki this past weekend. Thursday, April 2, 2009. Donna has completed approximately 1 week of rehab. We have already seen big improvements in everything. She has her old voice and sense of humor back. Baylor is aggressive in getting her up and active and they are pushing her to walk around more and take on more activity each day.
