Life, Love, and Lola. The adventures of Lola. Monday, October 19, 2009. Lola goes to Atlanta. Lola had a great time in Atlanta- she stayed with cousin Mann and Sandy and was given the royal treatment (thanks Sandy for being a great hostess), went to a pumpkin patch with Jacob Joyner, and had dinner at Felini's. Life, Love, and Lola. The adventures of Lola. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Very late to post this but here is an update on Lola at 15 months-. Saying uh oh, Georgia, momma, dada, bye bye, hi, and using sign language for hungry, water, milk, and more. Such a communicator! Playing- She had a really fun time with Grandpa and Grammy while Momma and Daddy went to Colorado. She now has a swing hanging from the deck that she loves. Lots of summer fun ahead! She is distressed and questioning what will happen at the end of her days- will there be nothing, will she see God, will she ever be with her beloved husband who departed before her? Despite spending a lifetime following her faith, she now doubts. That seems to me to be a cruel conclusion to a life spent observing her religion as closely as she could.
