Dispatches from the sea of atlas. Friday, June 30, 2006. To the East side (of Florida). It's official. As of July 21, I'll be calling the Palm Beach Post my official place of employment. That means hurricanes, alligators and orange trees galore. I'll be covering Palm Beach County schools and working out of the paper's main downtown offices. Clearly I'm excited, but it will be tough to leave the Mitten. As opposed to most people, I love Michigan and eventually would like to get back. Get your buzz on.

Here are a few that explain what I've been up to for the last three weeks in the Sunshine State:. 8226; Employment. I assumed my post as a Palm Beach County education reporter on July 21. After three days of training, I'm finally getting into the swing of things. I'm working Tuesday through Saturday, so not much of a social life, yet. I'll keep you posted unless I keel over first.
