Thursday, September 22. One of our favorite parts about moving back to NC has been to really live in community with some of our best friends. Unfortunately, just 2 months after we moved to Charlotte, two of those sweet friends - Mike and Jess - moved across the world - to Uganda. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Since my last post was titled “last day of school” and the girls first day of school is next week, I thought I better do a post about our amazing summer! We had so much fun at the pool and traveling back and forth to the beach and the mountains! Just like most summers, the time flew right on by! I looked through all of the pictures that I took this summer and tried to pick out my 10 favorite shots! Jay and I celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss this summer at the end of June!

At times it was like a full time job with no pay, but I loved pretty much every minute of it! We were roommates for three years after college, got married within 6 months of each other, were bridesmaids in each others weddings and are now business partners! Saturday, June 9, 2012. I love our street so much! I'd better since I have lived here since I was 18 months old! We had our second annual block party last month and it was SO much fun. We got a city permit to block off the street so we were able to eat in the street and the kids had a blast riding their bikes and playing basketball in the street too! Saturday, June 9, 2012. We joined our neighborhood pool for the first time this summer and we are already having a blast! The girls just finished their third week of swim team and have their first swim meet next week! They have had so much fun swimming with their best friends from school and their Y princess tribe.
