May 1, 2011. It seems to be almost surreal right now. My girls seem to be alright with it. Is anybody in the family 100% happy with it? Only 2 years apart, so different, but so much alike – I guess the only word for them is “Sisters.” And as a proud Dad I miss them when they just go to school for the day – That is probably why I drive them to school everyday – to get that extra 30 seconds with them – because that is how far the drive to school is. 8211; I just don’t know but I am about to find out.

Random Sights →. July 28, 2011. One thing that everyone asks of me when I am on the phone with them stateside is for me to “Stay Safe” – and I do appreciate the concern. The good part is I really don’t. Have much of a choice. Security is taken very seriously here in country. When I was in the Air Force security was the protection of classified material. Here in theater it has a whole different meaning. Objective is everyone gets home safe. That’s it. Everything else is secondary. And they can drive!
