Peanuts' Parents: Bring your kid to work day
http://peanutsparents.blogspot.com/2015/05/bring-your-kid-to-work-day.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. Bring your kid to work day. I started a new job a few months back, and it seemed like everyday for about a month something AWESOME would happen. I am realistic enough to know that not everyday over the length of my career would be that awesome, but it sure was nice to feel like that is the culture I was hired into. This is Peanut in front of the corncob columns in the Capitol. There are burn marks in the columns from when the Capitol was burned. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Peanuts' Parents: July 2013
http://peanutsparents.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Our master bathroom was badly in need of an update. I spent a lot of vacation days giving it a facelift. I got rid of as much gold as possible and removed the horrid wallpaper. It is by no means perfect, but it is a whole lot better than it had been. We have been running too much at our house lately. I have been worser than worse about updating the blog, but that is fine. We did manage to take a little bit of a break and visit one of the beautiful lakes we are lucky to l...This ...

Power Purl Girl: October 2005
http://purlicue.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
A Singletons Adventures in Knitting, Love and Life. Monday, October 31, 2005. What if the Monster Under My Bed decides to grab me. What if Michael Myers is under the bed? Or what if my bed starts shaking and then my head spins around and I throw up pea soup? Oh dear, I'm not that flexible and I really don't like pea soup. I made mucho progress with the hat but I'm still running short on yarn. I think maybe I might have used some of the yarn from this skein to fringe my scarf maybe? Handworks is closed on...

Peanuts' Parents: June 2015
http://peanutsparents.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 14, 2015. We went rent these trailers off of AirBnB. The running joke was "where do two families from Arkansas meet up? So we pull up to this trailer park/camping resort and there are golf carts in a long line with people drinking beer. We see this sign as we are registering. This may be the only picture we took of the inside of our trailer. It was actually very nice. It is much more civilized to camp in a trailer with a toilet as opposed to hiking to go pee. Running water is als...The last ...

Peanuts' Parents: April 2015
http://peanutsparents.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 05, 2015. Camping over Spring break. Our fist camping trip of the year was a huge success! Even in the storm, wind, and rain! Nothing can bring the Tallpeople of the back country down! A few weeks back the kids, and I went to Fort Foote, which is an old civil war camp. We had a nice picnic, and we enjoyed a good hike. It was nice to get out and play. Thursday, April 02, 2015. This year I had the pleasure of being the assistant coach to a bunch of girls who could play some ball! It was still...

Peanuts' Parents: May 2014
http://peanutsparents.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. We moved and stuff. Is a real phrase in small southern cities. If my friend had a mother that was alive, I knew her, even though I never knew my friends when they lived their mother. I just don't know if those kinds of bonds are possible here. I am sure they are, but I think it will be hard. The new house is good. It is coming along. There are numerous projects to be completed, but I think that there always will be. At least we always have something to dream about, right? We moved a...

Roads Rule: Jackson and his mew-mew
http://roadsrule.blogspot.com/2009/10/jackson-and-his-mew-mew.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. Jackson and his mew-mew. This is Jackson's stuffed cat Mew-Mew. We thought it was a goner as soon as we gave it to him. He is mostly lab but apparently a mild chewer. He really chews on bones but just slobbers on the cat. Well, he shakes it to break it's neck and sometimes tosses it in the air. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Roads Rule: What I feel like today
http://roadsrule.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-i-feel-like-today.html
Tuesday, October 27, 2009. What I feel like today. Something else I have never had an urge for. I don’t think I would do it but the physical stores in this area have reduced or eliminated their maternity sections to the point that it is a waste of time to go and check Target just to see if they have a maternity section this week. That is getting a little scary. So, I am torn between hurry up and get here and maybe I could wait a little longer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
