http://delightedin.blogspot.com/2012/03/moody-monday-teen-tip-prayer.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. Moody Monday Teen tip: Prayer. During my teen years I began to spread my wings. Teens today haven't changed that much. Well my wings were being spread, I ended up flying into some trouble. I know it's hard to believe:). My teen tip for today is to cover them in prayer. They are on a battle field daily. Lord, I pray if they are being drawn to trouble or are in trouble, that they would get CAUGHT! My kids use to complain, "Don't pray for that. It's not very nice or fair.". Time Out: ...

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Many things happen by accident. Or as my mother would say, by stupidity. I think this might qualify. I'll tell the story, you be the judge. I can just cut the imposing 1/4 inch off the box and viola, problem solved. Hi, my name is Julia, I'm your neighbor, would you be able to take me to the emergency room? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Treasured: Questions?
http://delightedin.blogspot.com/2012/09/questions_576.html
Monday, September 24, 2012. Moody Monday: Questions? This past weekend we went camping and spend some close quarters family time. Fall camping is beautiful, but freezing. We had to work together to survive! Yes, that is a little dramatic. Anyways, I realized that a key skill to have,. As a parent of teens, is the skill of asking questions. Not just random questions, but the kinds that are leading. I am not so great at this, but Troy is, so I am following his lead. Learning to Ask and Listen,.

Stethoscope Talks: January 2010
http://butterflyneedles.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 08, 2010. Why do people blow their heads off? We try to laugh about it at work, and tell our families the 'best' way to shoot yourself, if you're going to do it. But it's not funny. There is no 'best' way. It's just horrible. It's horrible for your soul, it's horrible for the people you leave behind, it's horrible for the people who take care of you until the final, inevitable end. It is here. Right here with a hopeless family, at the bitter end. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Stethoscope Talks: Worst day ever
http://butterflyneedles.blogspot.com/2012/12/worst-day-ever.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. I hate floating. I always drown. And no, I'm not talking about swimming. Or anything to do with water really. No, I am talking about the dreaded practice of working on a different hospital unit than your own when your home unit is overstaffed. Thankfully it didn't happen too often, but after this one particular experience, I dreaded it with every fiber of my being. December 14, 2012 at 5:08:00 PM CST. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, July 04, 2009. Well, now we can all see how good I am at keeping resolutions. Wasn't this a fun experiment. The pressure was building to keep telling funny, creative stories. But nothing funny or creative was happening in my life, all I could think of was sad things to write about. And who wants to read a sad blog? I know I don't. And so I left it. And now I'm back! And it's the 4t h. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Don't Drink Milk for Thirst. Olives on a Monday.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. As you can tell there is a missing picture. Uggg. The story of my blogging life. The before was the most adorable snowman made by my girl with things found outside.
