Sunday, July 7, 2013. Peachtree Road Race Recap. Peachtree Road Race 10k. July 4th every year. 60,000, By lottery in early/mid March. Wave start by race times given at registration. A rolling (3800ft elevation change) 6.2 miles down Peachtree Street through the heart of the city, finishing in Piedmont Park. The coveted cotton t-shirt seen on participants all over the city for the rest of the day. Also, the post-race scene is like a second expo there is so much free stuff. A sea of humanity at the finish.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015. DONNA 5k and Family Fun Run. Minimal on course, but there's a nice crowd at the start/finish. The participants are rather festive and encouraging throughout the race. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Georgia Publix Marathon Recap. Georgia Publix Half Marathon, Atlanta, GA. 7,000 including the 5k, half, and full. Fewer due to the rain this year, but they were cheering hard! Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta. Loop through many of the different neighborhoods in the city. Day glow tech shirt and medal. I won't be getting hit by a car in this one. This recap only has a few sad photos because the rain zapped my cellphone (it was later revived). All smiles after the race.
