Sunday, July 20, 2014. Sunday Day Out at the Beach :). Praise God for blessing us with a perfect Sunday afternoon for a beach pinic. :). What was meant to be a birthday celebration for Yahui and Charlotte turned into a doggy's day out! Koka baby refused to sit on the pinic mat. *.*. You see, she's a cleaniness freak. No one trained her to be one, she came like that? She needed lots of coaxing. And finally stepping onto the sandy beach. :). He was fascinated with the blue blue sea. :). Beach boys club :D.

Friday, July 31, 2015. Where Are We Going Sis? Day 7: Fun in Taichung. Breakfast at Hotel One. I thought it was lotus leaf rice. It turned out to be yam and ginko nuts. *.*. Didn't really like the porridge as it tasted weird. I was hopping to see mushrooms and hams in the omelette. :(. Best out of what I eaten this morning. :). We only had two days in Taichung and we wasted no time in exploring this city. :). Cute Ukulele.Time for merry making. :) ). Let the pro work his magic! The kids love him :).

Thursday, September 19, 2013. A Simple Mid-Autumn Nite. Lin and I can only manage a simple mid-autumn celebration with mom, Beanie, Koka and 大姨 this year. :). Two lanterns, mooncakes from Regent Hotel, Peninsula Hotel and Ju Chun Yuan and TWG's caramel tea was all we had tonight. :). Wishing everyone a Blessed Mid-Autumn! Links to this post. This weekend, we had Mitsue over for sleepover. :) Lin and I took the opportunity to introduce Mitsue to some local breakfast delight at Serangoon Garden Market and Food Centre. We shared fishball noodles, zhui kuey, and fried carrot cake. Mitsue loves seafood and off to Mellben we went for dinner. :D It was crabby overload for the four of us. *.* 3 staff came over to triple confirm if we are able to down 6 crabs and Rach and Lin insisted we could. 49A Serangoon Garden Way.

Friday, July 24, 2015. 90 Years of Blessings and Counting :). 90 years of blessings! Thank you Father. After weeks of careful and secretive preparation, and managing the senior folks, the garden party at Grandmom's residence finally became a reality! ASL as we fondly call Grandmom's residence is transformed. :). To enhance the ambience, big uncle helped us installed the fairy lights. :D. My wonderful team help made this garden party possible. Her reaction when she came home from the office was priceless!

Saturday, January 31, 2015. Going Behind the Vietnamese Kitchen :). Hoa signed Ryan, Katy, Lin and I for Vietnamese cooking lesson. :) What better way to understand another culture than through food. ;). The lesson started with a visit to the local market Ben Thanh Market. :D. Making of Hue Beef Pho. Making of spring rolls. Making of Bánh xèo. Making of caramelised pork. Veg and fruits art. After a session of intensive cooking, a massage at Spa Tropic was greatly welcomed! We were here yesterday too!

Looking for breakfast :). On our way to the dining room for breakfast ,we realised there was a bar within our compound. Didn't realise it yesterday. :). Early risers at the breakfast table. :). Sunny side-ups, bacon and mushroom. Roaming around after breakfast. :). Wild flowers of the grassland :). Same way of eating.

Thursday, April 16, 2015. Off to The Boiler for SEAFOOD! The benefits of having friends who own restaurants is full customization to our dietary requirement! And of course they indulge in us too. :) ). Specially reserved cold brown crabs with lots and lots of roes. The Boiler's seafood in a bag (Chilli gravy). Mantous are a must!
