Johnny Frites: The better team
http://johnnyfrites.blogspot.com/2010/05/two-weeks-ago-tonight-we-sat-in.html
Visceral moments in the life of a suburban middle class drone. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Two weeks ago tonight we sat in disbelief as we saw Montreal take apart the Caps in the first round. Tonight we sat in awe as they did the same thing to the reigning Stanley Cup champions. I beg to differ with our northern neighbors, as the better team did win that night, and tonight against the Pens. Perhaps the more talented team did not win, but certainly the better team did. Stanley Cup banner to their rafters.

Cycling Exclamations!: Dream So Real II

A regurgitation of tales based on the unbridled joy of being taken where a bicycle leads, SO. Who's With ME? The Road Lee Travelled. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Dream So Real II. In a dream I was holding a tiny baby as foreign as could be, but then he slipped from my grip and scurried away before my sandbag hands could react. His middle name is after my Dad who passed away 3 months to the day before his birth. His resting heart rate is phenomenal, in the 130's! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Stumpy ...

A regurgitation of tales based on the unbridled joy of being taken where a bicycle leads, SO. Who's With ME? The Road Lee Travelled. Monday, March 31, 2008. Plying the path past the locks and abandoned keeper's houses removes ones mind from our harried modern lives, allowing us to cash in on a mid-week respite replete with raptors and heron confident atop their aviary fraternities, painted against a sunset canvas amidst the aural backwash of the churning river. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Just as the trifecta.

Johnny Frites: January 2010
http://johnnyfrites.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Visceral moments in the life of a suburban middle class drone. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Two Caps games in two days. That doesn't happen often, but I'll take those opportunities when they come. Same goes for seeing old friends. My friend Tim was at both games, and having only seen him a coupla times in the past decade, it was great to catch up twice in a week. The best thing about old friends is the ability to just pick up where we left off once before. Icing on the cake was that the Caps won both games.

A regurgitation of tales based on the unbridled joy of being taken where a bicycle leads, SO. Who's With ME? The Road Lee Travelled. Friday, June 6, 2008. Right Let's do the math. If I'm humming along at 26 mph and the speed limit on sidewalks is 15 mph, then that would be like driving on a highway posting double-nickels at 91 mph! You know, in retrospect maybe she was actually yelling "Nice sock! Rock on, Scotty! June 12, 2008 at 8:07 AM. That knee-high is super hot! June 18, 2008 at 9:33 AM. 2 ON, 1 OF...

A regurgitation of tales based on the unbridled joy of being taken where a bicycle leads, SO. Who's With ME? The Road Lee Travelled. Sunday, September 20, 2009. Perhaps people purveyed this information, but there is a wicked wheel eating pothole at the top of Democracy soon after the right turn out of the Other-Haves Lives neighborhood. How do I know this? ANYWAY, once we regrouped at 7 Lox we inspected the damage which was immediately obvious as the rim of my rear Rolf Sestriere was taco'ed like nobody'...

A regurgitation of tales based on the unbridled joy of being taken where a bicycle leads, SO. Who's With ME? The Road Lee Travelled. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Every new family must be going through this protracted 24/7 selfless servitude in order to give their infant the comfort and security needed to grow and prosper (a burden never shared with prospective parents as to ensure propagation of the species). So therein lies the question, "are you riding? But I'll take it. Stumpy" and Style personified.
