Brandon vs Wild: Airports
http://brandonvswild.blogspot.com/2007/12/airports.html
Learning as I go. Sunday, December 2, 2007. For nearly four hours! Lucky me. Given the time I have spent in airports, today in particular, I have had some "quality" time to think about them. I dislike airports. Here is my first point of dislike for airports. If you have ever seen the movie. With Tom Hanks, you may remember that airports exist on international property (I believe). This means that although I am in the DIA. It's confusing to say the least. Interesting to think about. Although I dislike air...

Brandon vs Wild: A First For Everything
http://brandonvswild.blogspot.com/2008/03/first-for-everything.html
Learning as I go. Thursday, March 20, 2008. A First For Everything. The past two days have been incredibly productive, even for dominican standards! Although it may not seem like much, it really will make a difference. Like I said, the kids from the batay's do not eat very much as this is one of the bigger meals of their life (according to seth). When you have the kids throwing high 70's and low 80's when they are 13 and 14 is pretty imressive! I felt so bad for them, but it will for sure make them stron...

Brandon vs Wild: June 2007
http://brandonvswild.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Learning as I go. Saturday, June 30, 2007. The past 24 hours have been pretty spectacular! Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? After our time with Smokey, I went and bought groceries and mowed the lawn. not nearly as eventful. Then this afternoon we went on our horseback trip. We started off having lunch at a church members house; which was incredible! I can say that I am enjoying the country side of life and would like to have a horse in the future. just not Sheriff. Until next time. Thursday, June 28, 2007.

Brandon vs Wild: Roosters and Baseball
http://brandonvswild.blogspot.com/2008/03/roosters.html
Learning as I go. Saturday, March 15, 2008. Yesterday we had the luxury of sleeping in, even after our, like clockwork, 2am alarm. We then decided to tour around town and went to the market. After our trip to the market, we spent the day at the beach where we played a little catch and swam in the carribean. Sometimes it's rough down here. The field ILB recieved from the government. The horse tied up in the outfield, kinda like Safeco. Players that we will be following. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life in the South: Please PRAY for the People on the Gulf Coast!
http://kaitlyn-lifeinthesouth.blogspot.com/2008/08/please-pray-for-people-on-gulf-coast.html
Life in the South. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Please PRAY for the People on the Gulf Coast! After this year of working on the Gulf Coast, it is all so much more personal. I know these people, I've heard their personal stories and struggles, I've seen progress and hope, but I also left a place that still has a long ways to go before it is recovered from hurricane Katrina. Please pray for these people and that by some miracle Gustav loses steam and misses them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life in the South: March 2009
http://kaitlyn-lifeinthesouth.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Life in the South. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Dan and I are ENGAGED! Last Monday Dan and I got engaged! He totally surprised me. We were just having a typical Monday night hanging out at the apartment. We started talking and Dan was being extra sweet without making any goofy comments like he usually does. Then I was like "What are you doing on the floor? As he got down on one knee, I was obviously oblivious. Then he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
