Sunday, August 29, 2010. This Post Will Be Random. Hello How are you? I am tired. But I can't sleep, so here's a very random post from my home to yours. School started last week. First up? A lesson in the armor of God. I think they look ready for battle. How about you? As we say hello to a new school year, my thoughts wander back to some of the highlights of our summer, like seeing cousins. Lazy days at the beach. A visit to the bean. He's got LOTS of it.). Approaches.and with it comes. And then. this.

Sunday, November 15, 2009. These pictures are all out of order, so you'll have to forgive me. I'm too tired to move them around! It was a fun weekend but a long one, so bear with me. Yesterday, we crowded around the computer (because the game wasn't televised in our area) to watch the Huskers play. It was a nail-biter to say the least, and we were pretty much on the edge of our seats the entire time. They did pull out a win in the end. Here's mom watching:. Cody and Cass.such a sweet duo. And then Jerry ...

Monday, January 25, 2010. Today we were out running errands after we finished up our school work. After a quick run to the grocery store, and at the boys' request, we stopped into our local bird store. They have two cats there that the boys love to visit, and I needed some bird seed for our feathered friends. She looked at my sweet boys and said, "Boys, did you know that no two snowflakes are alike? They're all made completely different, just like your fingerprints! We serve an AWESOME God! He says to th...

A Squeaky Wheel: 8/1/10 - 8/8/10

My oldest child is now "Two Whole Hands" - it's hard to believe how she has grown, and that I've been trying to figgerout how to be someone's mom for ten years now. She looked just like her dad. I worked hard to have Maggie. A wonderful chain of events left me "epidural-less" in this modern world. Looking back now, I am thankful to have experienced that pain. In the 17 hours that it took me to have Maggie, I experienced the pain, and the joy, of the world. It is joyful to nurture children as they grow an...

My life has a great soundtrack. I love music and I love to sing. When I think of the happiest times of my life, they are usually accompanied in my memory by song. The kids have this funny question for me: "Mom, what song was I born to? They ask me this not because I played music while I was in labor (Seriously, who would want to miss out on hearing me swear in three different languages at Mike? Do you girls hafta keep playing that disco music over and over again? My favorite Jazz anthems are, of course, ...

The Wilson Six: Blessed
http://wilson-six.blogspot.com/2011/09/blessed.html
100 Things About Me. Saturday, September 03, 2011. I have been blessed to have such a wonderful family. I am able to work at the kids schools as a Substitute Teacher, attend all the sports activities that having four children entails, attempt to keep caught up on the laundry and have fun making new things for J Designs. I spent today working on a friends layette. She dropped off some cute baby sleep sacks and fabric and asked me to make a few things. I added the Onesie to the Etsy shop.
