Doodles of a ditsy girl. Archive April, 2011. Having a look at Victorian shops for a start- many of which we actually see today. I think the windows will certainly be incorporated into the theme of our fortress inside, giving it the 1890s twist. All the bits and bobs inside also give the opening for steam punk to jump in with all of the jars, brass and metal contraptions. Game Art and Design. The target audience is rather unusual for an anime, as, like the children’s show ‘Ben 10’, the characters have progressed and developed with age, and so has the audience. The first episodes are childish and silly, however as the series progresses, the situations become more serious, and tend to develop much deeper characters. Contextual and Theoretical Studies.

Rulers: HUZZAH! | doodles of a ditsy girl

Doodles of a ditsy girl. The ruler things on photoshop (I state in a very professional manner) have always been an annoyance for me- until I actually USED THEM! My word, look what I’ve been missing! I was struggling to arrange a commission character’s face, and then I accidentally dragged a ruler out from the markers at the top of the image space. A light bulb went off in my head! Here are the results of that very dim light bulb. I’m a bit worried why I’ve never thought of it before… Doh.

Doodles of a ditsy girl. Archive February, 2011. Flash Animation: In Search of the Wind. This video certainly has an Eastern feel to it, and currently I find some of the expressions produced through Eastern animation (almost emoticons now) are unnecessary. However, I enjoy the smooth animation and movement throughout the short clip, and the story involved too; it is very sweet. OUDF103- Fundamentals of Animation. Flash: Animator vs. Animation. Doodles of a ditsy girl. Fortress and Pub- Evaluation. This slideshow requires JavaScript. The fort as a whole is impressive- I believe we managed to tie in each of our builds successfully. The colours and textures mix well because we maintained constant collaboration. However, the design could have been better through created textures, as they give a much more childlike feel to the prototypes. Game Art and Design. Personal Evaluation →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Doodles of a ditsy girl. Archive December, 2010. Floor Plan and Elevations. I really enjoyed painting this. I love the thought of the fact that her house is a broken temple, and that Mao, my character, lives underneath it in her own little Den. I’ll be drawing a concept of the inside so that I know what to draw for the floor plans. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Doodles of a ditsy girl. Archive October, 2010. The more wrinkles, the better. I have to say, I’m really fond of images of old people. Sounds random, I know, but when I was drawing from observation, I always found sketching them much more fun. I don’t see why young people fear getting wrinkles… They’re awesome! The texture of skin and the different shading and expression improves over the years- definitely not something to be worried about, but more something to embrace. This slideshow requires JavaScript.
