What is a “zoopolis”? Me Made May Recap the First! May 7, 2015. All this week I have worn clothing I made myself. Even pajamas! Which you don’t get to see, sorry. Day One: Butterick t-shirt, Jalie jeans. Day two: Vogue shirt, same Jalie jeans. You can maybe tell that I am not fussed about avoiding repeats. Day three: me in a very sloppy Renfew, Frances in my first Ottobre t-shirt pattern. Day 4: my tea-length Moneta, with a lovely panel print. Day six: Same Butterick shirt, StyleArc Jasmine pants. Leave ...

Only 3 percent of breast...

I know it’s been a year since I last posted, but it really doesn’t feel that long for me, in good part because I still get comments pretty regularly on what has turned out to be my iconic post, Why I hate living in Sweden. Falling down is also a gift. Laquo; here we are. October 15, 2012. We have been laughing. Its the glorious beginning of summer, all sunshine and lawn mowings every few days filling the air with the smell of grass, and that air is not too moist and heavy to breathe, so we breathe in deeply all that grass and new leaf smell. I knew she'd spoken without really thinking, as people often do at funerals. I knew that she hadn't meant the words to sound as callous to me, not long without my wheelchair, as they did. But I still couldn't help but wonder if there was a part of her that believed it. I Made The Right Decision". Who says that someone? I told my friend over ...
