The TRUTH about motherhood. Just another WordPress.com weblog. On the side…. February 12, 2009. In an attempt to fit into my role as a housewife I’ve been experimenting with cooking. Anyone who knows me can confirm the fact that I hate to cook. My husband can confirm that I cook the same meals over and over because they’re the only meals that turn out edible. I’m not sure what the reason behind it is, but this winter I decided to do some experimenting in the kitchen. I took baby steps. I started with this.

The TRUTH about motherhood. Just another WordPress.com weblog. On the side…. March 30, 2009. I’ve always had a bit of a potty mouth. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right? I can’t even count the number of times my own mother had to tell me that I don’t talk like a lady should. What should a lady sound like anyway? I have a feeling that according to my mother a lady should sound like her. I’m not about to open THAT can of worms on the internet. It doesn’t end thereunfortunately.

Friday, March 28, 2008. You call this SPRING? The sun was shining and the kids were itching to get out, so we decided to w. Alk to the park. I didn't realize how muddy and wet everything was. We had to go through a lot of sidewalk puddles to get there, but we made it! Notice the HUGE pools of water in front of the tennis courts. My boys decided to run through them and splash around in them when I wasn't looking. OMG! Funny how it seems warmer when the sun's out when you are in the house, than outside!

Friday, June 20, 2008. Alina Boo's New Do. After almost 2 1/2 years of growing her hair, my. Toddler got her 1st haircut. I was apprehensive at first because she really has such beautiful hair, but it started looking a little scraggly at times, so I knew that it had to be done. I decided to take her to a kid's place, so that she could enjoy the experience to it's fullest extent and what a great choice that ended up being! You know it can go either way. Phew! Wednesday, February 27, 2008. After NO nap today, we made it to Sesame Street LIVE! Alina didn't even fall asleep on the way there - WooHoo! I think she knew we were going somewhere exciting, so she knew to stay awake! Once we got to our seats, she sat in complete awe the entire time. She had no clue what was going on. It was quite funny.
