meanderings . . . : little red house in the summer
http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/little-red-house-in-summer.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. Little red house in the summer. I've photographed the little red house down the road in the winter. And now summer. only fall left to go, but let's not rush that one as you know what comes after . . . (you know, according to dante, hell is really a fiery frozen wasteland. shiver. ;). These purple blossoms were scattered all over the ground, but i couldn't find where they had fallen from. Posted by doris sander. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Flower graphics by mia charro.

meanderings . . . : sky art
http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/sky-art.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. The sky is so amazing. i really enjoy seeing it change from day to day or even hour to hour. last week before we left for florida we had a 24 hour period in which it really put on a show. first it got all crazy dark in the middle of the day with puffy billowy clouds. we even got summer hail. so cool. Then that evening. my goodness. the sunset was stunning. i didn't even edit any of these photos as i just didn't want to tamper with the colors and light. Posted by doris sander.

Friday, July 31, 2015. I had too many photos for my last wchs post, so i saved out the critters for a bonus post. i snagged some really cool ones this visit. the big guy hanging out above reminded me of our trip to visit my sister in texas. Last summer. hoping to head over there again next spring for the bluebonnets. Tiny spider and weird fruit/seed pod. Do you see it? And this one even consented to pose for me. happiness! And one quick snap of a grey butterfly in the mimosa. Posted by doris sander.

meanderings . . . : masterful scrapbook design: pocket pages
http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/tracie-claiborne-she-made-big-mess.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Masterful scrapbook design: pocket pages. Thinks she made a big mess. i think she's right, but i also think my mess might be a little bit bigger. regardless, of who as the bigger mess, a dubious distinction at best, i'm super excited to be teaching with her at masterful scrapbook design. Posted by doris sander. August 1, 2015 at 3:22 PM. Definitely looking forward to the pocket page class! August 2, 2015 at 5:13 AM. August 2, 2015 at 6:51 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/florida-photos-happy-80th-mom.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Florida Photos: Happy 80th Mom! We had a pretty awesome time in florida this trip. i was a little more social than usual. on our first full day there we went fishing behind "the pig" with an old friend from high school. what a view! The two cousins each caught a couple little fish. g caught a couple rocks and then resorted to catching even littler fish with a large mesh dip net. he has skillz. My favorite picture this trip. They're all growing up way too fast. Still digging the hole.

http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/birthday-badge.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. I have instructions for a fun birthday card with removable badge up on the Cocoa Daisy Blog. This morning. I've also barely been getting by since going back to school Monday. I am SO behind. Found this image on Facebook yesterday that sums me up perfectly. Looking forward to the weekend when I can hopefully find some breathing room, except I do have to do back to school shopping, and grocery shopping, and house cleaning, and . . . ugh. just ugh. meanderings . . . : cheekwood: jaume plensa
http://dorissander.blogspot.com/2015/07/cheekwood-jaume-plensa.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. I went to cheekwood botanical garden and museum of art. A couple weeks ago and was completely blown away. i had been there once before, last year at the peak of tulip season. That was fabulous, but i was expecting it to be fabulous in april with all the spring blossoms exploding on the scene. In mid july of a blazing hot summer, i wasn't expecting quite as much. i assumed the flowers would be mostly spent and a little crispy around the edges. i was so wrong! I also thoroughly enj...

Friday, July 31, 2015. Quality literature: gone girl. Posted by doris sander. August 12, 2015 at 7:40 AM. I loved Gone Girl. Anything with twists and turns keeps me interested. Im not good at guessing out-comes and really prefer not to try. I like to just let the book flow and see what happens! Ive read two others by Gillian Flynn. Sharp Objects is really good- -another dark one- -as all of her books are. Still you dont see the twists coming. Love that! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
