Sunday, May 19, 2013. Before and After Yellow Frame. I love how this frame turned out. I bought it at a thrift store for $6. It's very heavy and came with the glass in it. I brought it home and got busy. I bought yellow spray paint! I had not painted anything in yellow (I've mostly painted with turquoise because I LOVE turquoise.). So, I thought yellow would be a pretty summer color. A work in process. I had two chevron pattern wrapping papers that I bought at HomeGoods (LOVE that store! The Junk Gypsy Co.

Thursday, May 31, 2012. Another Glen Rose trip. My husband and I made a trip down the road to Glen Rose Texas. one of our fave places to go. It's a charming little town about 25 minutes away. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. I've discovered it's okay to get paint on your hands. I've also discovered mixed media! This is a recycled "canvas" from work. A box, the size of a canvas, that would have been thrown away. Just the beginning of a mixed media piece. Mixed media glittery, turquoise-y goodness. Practicing with my new stencil. I love this yellow! This pig is not cute. I got her at Goodwill for $3.00. I'm thinking she'll look cute with a chevron pattern painted on her. What do you think?
