Was spent eating and relaxing in a hot spring, then eating some more. Perfect! The muggy air outside was buzzing with dragonflies and I enjoyed my cold soda with lunch. 30 days in China. Reflections on my time as a volunteer teacher at the Tsinghua English Summer Camp in Beijing. Friday, July 8, 2011. But UV is the beast! Now ends another lovely Beijing Friday evening, bringing the second week of the summer camp to a close. There are just four days of class remaining until the camp is over and we all have to say our farewells. It seriously disturbs me how fast time has been passing! Do girls dare attend this party? I've realized how much I take the sky for granted.

Yesterday I was having some trouble connecting to the Clemson VPN, which is what allows me to get on blogger and Facebook and all my favorite sites, and I was a little freaked out that I wouldn't be able to figure it out! 30 days in China. Reflections on my time as a volunteer teacher at the Tsinghua English Summer Camp in Beijing. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. In the 3:00-4:00 period, the camp has given us free time, so we decided to watch a movie. The class voted on watching Mindhunters. Which is a creepy, seriously messed up horror film. Keep in mind that I have low tolerance for scary movies, but this one is particularly disturbing. We had to pause it halfway through just after someone's head had fallen off.
