Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Resident Evil: Extinction, the supposedly final movie in the Resident Evil movie trilogy, finally reached cinemas here last Friday. This was before cold struck and seeing as I made it through all of Apocalypse, decided that Extinction couldn't be any worse and even if it was, I was prepared for it. So, I went to see it. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Just finished Metal Gear Solid 4, here's some quick, non-spoiler filled impressions:. The finale, while not quite the mind blowing revelation of MGS3, is still incredible and ends the series in such a way that I could hardly now imagine a better final scene. Then again, this series isnt going anywhere and MGS4 leaves just enough loose ends throughout the timeline of the series that a ridiculous amount of prequels can come out over the next years.
