Friday, 20 July 2012. My Summer sew project. Is turning out to be such fun and all in a good cause. Seven dresses have now been despatched to Louise. From Dress A Girl Around the World. I keep thinking I'm nearing the end of my stash of appropriate fabric but then I see some in a charity shop which would work.I have even cut up a few of the clothes in my wardrobe. Well, it's all in a good cause! My goal is 10 dresses (for now) and then I must revert to all the other ideas stacking up! Had such fun making...

Sharing my passion for creating, food and the simple things in life by Patricia Leach. Giving thanks, Amsterdam style. November 26, 2014. This year, we’ve decided to skip the turkey since we won’t be the only vegetarians to share our table. We have settled instead on a lovely roasted sweet potato dish we recently enjoyed on a rare night out at the nearby Drover’s Dog. What’s in a name? How Little Field Birch came to be. Organization Love: The Laundry Room. Posted by Jeanne Connolly on Apr 14, 2014. Spring is in the air! Its the perfect time of year to premier our creative organizing series called Organization Love. Today we are going to do some dirty work, right down in the laundry room. The goal is to get it inspired and organized in this very frequented room in everybodys house. I rounded up some inspirational ideas on how you can get started! I was very inspired by this charming little laundry room by Dottie Angel.

Friday, October 29, 2010. Enoch just dashed in from the back yard so that he could tell me this: "There were two squirrels in the back yard, and they didn't even bother to kill me." Oh, phew. Weekdays from scratch: Thrifted Thursday: Vintage Quilt
http://weekdays-from-scratch.blogspot.com/2015/07/thrifted-thursday-vintage-quilt.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. Thrifted Thursday: Vintage Quilt. This quilt is perfect for a girl about to turn six years old- the perfect combination of whimsy and colour- scraps of fabric from the 1940's and 50's combine together in a Dresden Plate pattern on a well worn white background. What I love is the equal amounts of hand and machine stitching- I imagine this quilt was sewn when home machines were starting to become more sophisticated as there is a fancy machine embroidered edge. Hi, I'm Sharilyn.

Pink Sequin Designs: Classic Picnic Blouse
http://pinksequin-crista.blogspot.com/2011/06/classic-picnic-blouse.html
Friday, June 24, 2011. Pink and white polka dots are just so much fun! I recently finished this Oliver and S Picnic Blouse for my daughter. It was my first time sewing with these patterns and they are great. Clear instructions and this blouse was great to make. I used voile for the blouse that I found at JoAnne's last season and the buttons are from a friend's stash that was passed onto me. I found these great fabrics and now want to make the shorts for her. Labels: Oliver and S. Make your own badge here.
