Living each day to the fullest. Skip to primary content. February 17, 2014. And I have a love/hate relationship. I love them because I don’t have to go to work. I *hate* them because I usually have to go grocery shopping. I love them because I get another day with my babies. I *hate* them because grocery shopping = Walmart. I love them because I can get my life in order before the week starts. I *hate* them because of Walmart. Lets talk about that…. Unfortunately he just added to my stress. We have gotte...

Living each day to the fullest. Skip to primary content. February 15, 2014. Somewhere I read that it was supposed to be 60* today. Ha! I swear my iPhone weather changes every minute. I have got to stop relying on that thing.😉. Elijah is obviously thrilled! Today I planned an adventure. And every time I tell Elijah we are going on one, he worries that this is going to happen again. Momfail #scaredofbeesforlife #heloveshoneythough #irony #illstopnow. http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 29, 2013. Please Watch This TED Talk. You see some experts speak in really fascinating topics. And though I've seen plenty of inspiring TED talks, I happened to see one the other day that was beyond remarkable. I would feel guilty if I didn't do what I can to share it and encourage others to watch. View on TED site here. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. What are you crazy? So, I'm going to remain strong. but a prophylactic failure would not be unwelcome right now. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I was ...

Impatient with PCOS: Long overdue update
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2015/02/long-overdue-update.html
Saturday, February 7, 2015. It has been so long, but that is really a good thing. Still staying at home. Michael is 5 now and has been going to preschool part-time for a couple of years. Kindergarten next year. Me and the husband are fine. Cats are cuddly as ever. Not too much happening in my world. Auto-timer in front of Fairy Falls in YNP. Yes, I was (just barely) pregnant during our trip. I'm kinda proud to think of gestating the first couple weeks of the pregnancy in mountains of Yellowstone. And the...

Impatient with PCOS: Metformin
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/p/metformin.html
I decided to make this page because I keep getting emails asking about metformin, or "met" as I call it. I don't tend to reply to them because the answers are not short and it's a lot of work to reply to each one, but also because if you search met on this site you will get all my posts and pretty much get to read all about my experiences with it. There is a lot I could say about met and because of that I will probably come back and edit this page periodically as I think of new things. I am a 'text book'...

Impatient with PCOS: May 2013
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 21, 2013. And it went pretty well. Cause it could have been a disaster. And I'm so thrilled that it wasn't. I was most worried about cooking since I haven't cooked on a fire for years and I don't recall being that good at it back then either. Plus, I don't eat meat and my husband and child do, so that always makes meals a little harder to begin with. something I'm used too, but still a challenge. I downloaded an e-book called The Family Camping Handbook from Kitchen Stewardship. We spent 2 n...

Impatient with PCOS: January 2013
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Something else I have been avoiding. Warning: The following is a gross. Admission of my terrible house keeping. Tomorrow, Michael will turn 3. And several changes come with this, but the biggest one in our home right now is transitioning him from his crib (in toddler bed form) to a real big boy bed. We have to arrange his room to fit it in and I believe our beloved chair. Will have to move out to the living room. Well, the time has come and tonight I scrubbed nearly 3 year-old ...

Impatient with PCOS: February 2013
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 23, 2013. What to do when it snows. Make a spring purse. Pink and Canvas Cross-body. Really, I liked the purse I was carrying around, but I'm in a springy mood and the gray/mustard color combo isn't matching my mood anymore. I should really take pictures of the stuff I make before I wear it out. I liked the styling and spent a lot of time designing this bag- a little ruching on the sides and a bow near the top, lots of pockets, including a big one in the back to fit our tablet. I would...

Impatient with PCOS: July 2012
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 22, 2012. Life since I broke my wrist has gone from sucking hard to almost normal very quickly, and for that I am grateful. After awhile the orthopedist came in. He was going to have me sedated and. Would it have killed someone to clean the plaster off my fingers? They let me eat breakfast then took me NPO (no food/drink) so I assumed that I was having surgery later in the day but the orthopedist had told DH different after the reduction. So figured that I would just have to wait and see.

Impatient with PCOS: October 2012
http://www.impatientwithpcos.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 27, 2012. Hot off the sewing machine. I'm not a perfect person, sometimes I like to brag a little. My sewing machine and I are on good terms these days and I've been busy and just wanted to share a little. Last week was the baptism for a cousin's baby. I made him a little hat and blanket. The hat might have ended up a little small. Here is a link. I covered it with a little piece of interfacing so it wouldn't show through and sewed the backing on. Yeah, I took a picture of it. I alw...
