Thursday, October 27, 2011. Community Group Pumpkin Carving Night! Our community group had a gathering last Saturday night to carve and paint pumpkins together. The kids all painted their pumpkins in one room and then the couples carved their family pumpkins in the other room. The 30 minute competition was intense. And the winner was. The Slingerlands were so much fun and brought a pumpkin pinata for the kids to hit! Painting our pumpkins together! The Crisps were so funny! The sprinkler system works!

Thursday, March 29, 2012. Family Vacation and Math Class. We like to take a mini two-night vacation sometime between Jan-March just the five of us (last year it was the four of us. how time flies! Where we stay has a magnificent breakfast smorgasbord and the girls love the donuts best of all! Surprise, surprise.). Lucy liked the tater tots!
