The Stash Basket: I just knew...
http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2012/01/i-just-knew.html
Wednesday, January 11, 2012. That I'd be rubbish at this blogging thing. The will is there but the ability to do it isn't. I spend waaay. Too much time playing on Ravelry. Deciding what to make and what I would like to do with my rather copious. I've made some fingerless mitts - Susies Reading mitts. Love these. Really love them. Martha yet again, in a colourway that I did feel should have been re-named Multiple Orgasm. Yes, it really is that good girls! Quick, go add some items to your queue! Lovely kni...

http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2011/12/no-more-doom-and-gloom.html
Thursday, December 22, 2011. No more doom and gloom. So yesterday was the shortest day. Yippeeeee. The nights are getting shorter and the days longer. Summer is on its way people. And it isn't even Christmas. See, I told you I was optimistic! Progress on the Hexipuff. Blanket is slow, very, very slow. Other knitting, not to mention life, has been getting in the way. I am still aiming for 40 hexis. Have you been watching Strictly Come dancing? There was a Strictly sweepstake. I have joined in the Posh Soc...

The Stash Basket: Letting go
http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2011/12/letting-go.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. Over the past, oh I don't know, my eldest son has been a major cause of worry in my life. He is studying for a Diploma in Uniformed Services - a course which gears young people up to a career in one of the public or armed forces. This picture was taken today at 7am. He was going off on a Survival Course somewhere (location was kept a secret just in case anxious parents travelled to rescue them I suppose! Hurry home son, I miss you! December 12, 2011 at 11:07 PM. I bet hell have...

The Stash Basket: November 2011
http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 27, 2011. Looking on the Bright Side. I have had a really lousy week. It has been The Week From Hell. I will not go into all the details. On Wednesday morning while I was out with Harvey, the sunrise was so beautiful, it took my breath away. Harvey was particularly bright eyed and bouncy and for once he stayed fairly close to me and did not run away chasing rabbits or foxes. A friend brought me round a lovely bouquet of flowers, which of course made me cry. Saturday, November 19, 2011.

The Stash Basket: September 2010
http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I love my Postie! My postie is the bestest. Postie ever. I love him lots. Just look what he brought me today. This first picture is some yarn I bought last week on a new-to-me place at Ravelry. Ever heard of it? Put in very simple terms, designers donate their patterns and kind people donate their yarn and other things, then people like me come along and buy said things and give money to Medecins. You know the love affair I have with Posh Yarn's Martha sock wool? Thingy....

The Stash Basket: Red Noses
http://stashbasket.blogspot.com/2009/02/red-noses.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. Vera loved Bartholomew's new nose from the other day. Loved it so much that she begged me to make her one too. And so here they are, both very happy with their new appearances! This is, of course, all due to the impending Red Nose Day for Comic Relief. (Friday 13 th. So I wondered what I could do. Mrs Locket came up with the idea of making something and raffling it off. Well at least I think that's what you said Lucy? All you have to do is donate something to Comic Relief. I...
