Laquo; A little haven of peace and tranquility. Snippets from the last week ». August 05, 2015. When Amy was younger I used to make summer holiday vouchers. For her. These were little tokens that she could cash in throughout the 6 week summer break and they usually included the simplest of activities and treats, things like a shopping trip, a picnic, a visit to the cinema and an annual favourite - berry picking at the local pick your own farm. Link(isch)e Masche: Socks and "obligatory" patterns
http://linkemasche.blogspot.com/2011/09/socks-and-obligatory-patterns.html
Adventures in re-learning knitting after a hiatus of nearly 20 years. Friday, September 30, 2011. Socks and "obligatory" patterns. In the last few months I've managed to complete a few pairs of socks, about a few of which I'd like to write. First off there are the Toirneach. Socks which I'd started last November, then put aside after about half an inch's worth of knitting, then picked up again in August. The yarn for them (some lovely BFL by Fyberspates) came from Dottycookie. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, 26 October 2010. Keeping Busy While Baby Keeps us Waiting! So yesterday was my due date, but there's still no sign of ought happening. With Dylan off school this week, and with his cough and the frosty wet weather, we've been looking for ways to keep us busy. We've put up a giant spider web:. 6 Days a...

Wednesday, 9 November 2011. It’s hard to believe a whole year has gone by since we first welcomed Arabella into the world. (Although it’s equally difficult to remember life before her! To mark her first birthday, I wanted to create a pink princess party we’d never forget (well the princess herself won’t remember it, but hopefully she’ll enjoy looking at the photos in years to come! John designed some gorgeous invites and we ordered a fab outfit on Etsy from HugWear. And what does every princess need?
