Saturday, 28 May 2011. Uh oh, guess what I found under the bushes. Those who know me know I have been missing my little Honey for over a year now. I took a BIG descision and chose this little girl, who I have called Raya, and she is making my heart sing. Pebbles has been really good with her too. Yes sorry that is my sofa. Me and Pebbles just before Raya. Did I tell you my favourite colour was green? Sewing so far this last week -none. Am still very happy.:-). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, 29 February 2012. Sewing at Kate's today, lovely sunshine and good company, Margaret has been very productive with her beautiful butterfly garden quilt. This is just a 'little' something that Kate has drafted, dyed and stitched! Our dear friend Pat had a little birthday bash today. Not to be outdone by my friend Shirley of Stitcherydoo fame, I made this little bag for Pat for her birthday, it really is a lovely pattern. Pebbles has been clipped and posed for the camera, pretty girl.

Wednesday, 16 February 2011. Blogging again at last! Poving I have not been compl;etely idle, week by week this year I challenged myself to do a small postcard journal, so I am creating something achievable, once a week. Week 5, these are dried hydrangea flowers, free motion embroidered onto silk, which worked really well. Wouldn't have tried that on a quilt! I have also written a small entry on the day I made the quilt so that I remember how I felt on that day. Back to the drawing board!

Tuesday, 17 January 2012. Just sharing this lovely machine, that my husband bought me at the weekend. It is a Singer 411, with cams for embroidery stitching, and is a lovely machine. It also came in this lovely cabinet with drawers and the cupboard opens so that I can sit close in and sew, a lovely piece of furniture, that has pride of place in my sewing room. I know that I am an addict, but there are sooo many lovely machines out there, what's a girl to do. If you have Windows XP. This doggy has some co...
