Mild Blend of Truth and Fiction: heavy on pretension. Friday, May 25, 2007. I ask, who was more obsessed? There are no mirrors at my office. But there is Facebook. If I were to only check my profile seventeen times in an hour that would be a miracle of restraint. I need to. I need to look at my picture and read what anybody wrote to me. I need to see if I’m still worthy of attention. I used to wonder why people at school recognized me every day. To me, I looked different every single day.

connections without capability: October 2013
http://withoutcapability.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 12, 2013. On Monday I ran where I had not been. To find the walking route for your visit. This week has been as many. I was looking forward to our walk. Friday I allow space for me but. You are sick and so we will walk another week. Most times I don’t mind. T he time alone with the autumn leaves. The chilly air and expanse of cars and city. I can think better when moving and sweating. Today I am just lonely. I was looking forward to our talk. Of men, children,. Instead I write this poem.

connections without capability: HIKING IN THE ARIZONA SUN
http://withoutcapability.blogspot.com/2013/03/hiking-in-arizona-sun.html
Sunday, March 17, 2013. HIKING IN THE ARIZONA SUN. Hiking in the sun is. But it is instructive. The dangers controlled with. Sleeves, hat, water and sun screen. Special shoes to keep feet firmly on the trail. It’s the length of the challenge. A marathon of finishing. I start, hopeful. Imagining myself an explorer. A naturalist, a women of the wild. But soon my mind asks. When will it be over? It’s not something I admit. Hiking is so virtuous. Too much vigilance is required. Keep eyes and thoughts down.

Mild Blend of Truth & Fiction: heavy on pretension: January 2007
http://audaciouslyselfimportant.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Mild Blend of Truth and Fiction: heavy on pretension. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. These past few days had the potential to be the greatest days of my young, trivial life. But, like the my own grade seven self, it turned out to be an example of depressed, wasted potential. I set up false gods, and I was rebuked, my temple crumbled around me. A defining characteristic of Greg is his tendency. I had met a fellow from H arperCollins. New novel, The Yiddish Policemen's. Union (may 2007). I metaphorically.

Mild Blend of Truth & Fiction: heavy on pretension: Who Am I?

Mild Blend of Truth and Fiction: heavy on pretension. Friday, May 11, 2007. The tales of of my boring internship continue. Not usually one to try silly gimmicks advertised on random Facebook accounts, I'm feeling a little ashamed that i even tried this. I had a negative experience with the now completely overdone celebrity look-a-like page, made so famous by my niece's apparent uncanny resemblance to the late Martin Luther King Jr.- i was skeptical of the clearly lame "what superhero are you". How upset ...

http://jamesmpreston.blogspot.com/2008/04/spring-is-almost-done.html
James M. Preston. Spring is almost done. Spring semester is almost done. I'm excited to be done with yet another semester. I've also registered for Summer and I'm excited to get 9 credits done over the summer. That'll leave one semester left. December here I come. I can't wait to be done with my undergrad. I'm so sick of crappy teachers and crappy students in my class. I'm ready to move on. We love the adult version of you just as much as the XBox version, just so you know. =).
