Sunday, November 04, 2007. On saturday, dad picked me up at 5.45 to go up to Nambour for collectorama. We got to nambour super early, so we stopped at a few garage sales. My dad is starting to collect planters like myself, and I picked up two at one garage sale for 50- cents each for his b'day pressie and also a gold glomesh bag for myself for $1.00. Saturday, February 23, 2008. Well Brisbane greeted us back from our 7 day cruise through the Whitsundays and Tropical North Qld with a 41 degrees day! She gave me $20 and I won $100. Not bad! We had a lovely lunch and was home at 3pm where had reached 40 degrees! Soooo Sooo hot. You can't explain how hot it was, it was both humid and the air was boiling aswell. The beaches were packed. Back to our holiday. I couldn't believe I went up on them! I'll update some piccies and will write another blog tommorow.

Sunday, February 11, 2007. What a great few days! Today, mum came and picked me up at 8am and we went to the big redcliffe markets, I got quite a few bargains! She is going to fix one up, do some planting for them and phone me once there ready! She went to florida for holidays, the home of kitsch flamingoes and picked them up there. Sunday, December 09, 2007. Today was soooo sooo hot, I had to have three cold showers whilst cleaning the house, doing 5 loads of washing, and putting up the Xmas decorations. It was 32 degrees here and must have been over 80% humidity. This week it's definately hit summer! Its taken its time though as previously we have had warmish but not oppresive heat. I remember my birthday last year was sooo hot, and its only got that way nearly a month and a half later this year. Next time the tats will be out!

Sunday, March 16, 2008. We have been making some more small improvements to the house, via garage sales, trips to Lily's cottage and the Caboolture Markets. My mum has had sundays off this month, so we've been up nice and early and trouncing around the place! Tuesday, 10 January 2017. Flowers from the heart. Hi Every One,. Well more organised this week. Here is a card I made with a piece of acetate which I had used the Caught in crystal technique. For those who do not know this technique you drop alcohol inks on to acetate, You can add glitter, flakes frantage to the mix if you wish. Cover the whole piece with clear glaze then cover with crumpled tissue paper and leave to dry overnight. Take care Till next time. Thursday, 5 January 2017. I hope you like it.
