Saturday, June 13, 2015. Chalk Painted Coffee Table. I picked up a small, rather neglected, coffee table. I could see it had a lot of potential, so I grabbed it. I have never used chalk paint before, but this looked like the perfect first project to try it on. I was so anxious to get started on it, that I didn't take any "before" pictures. I DID get some "during" pictures though -. Finally, to complete the shabby chic look, I stenciled a design on the top with grey craft paint, then waxed it. I started b...

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Red Metal Flower Sconce. I found a wonderful red metal flower sconce at Hobby Lobby. It is just my style. I hung it in my kitchen next to the window. It is the perfect accent to an otherwise boring spot. Have you found any treasures lately? Friday, December 20, 2013. I added some silver bells to my wire basket with a candle in the middle. I love the scent of cinnamon candles and not just at Christmas - it's my favorite candle scent all year round. I even have a little tree in ...

You can pick these up for 50 cents up to $2.00 and just let your imagination go crazy. Here is the before picture:. Next, I used my staple gun to attach some chicken wire to the back of the frame. Saturday, May 17, 2014. Mason Jar Wall Hanging. I love mason jars and wanted to try one of the many ideas Pinterest. Had to offer. I started with a piece of scrap fence board and then dry-brush painted it with both a little bit of gray and pink. I printed off the word "inspire" on my computer and then used a black paint pen to write it on the board. Then I distressed the entire board. Sweet What would you choose to fill the jar? Shabby Pink Bungalow: Shabby Chic Table Set
http://shabbypinkbungalow.blogspot.com/2015/06/shabby-chic-table-set.html
Saturday, June 6, 2015. Shabby Chic Table Set. I recently picked up a wooden table and chair set. It was pretty beat up and not very pretty, so I felt compelled to rescue it! Here are some sad "before" pictures:. Then, I discovered 2 metal bistro chairs to complete the look! I couldn't pass them up and knew they would look great when redone and would be a unique addition to this set. Here is their "before" picture:. The dark paint from the original color came through beautifully! July 1, 2015 at 12:19 PM.
