I finished up my season with an 8K Turkey Trot, ending my racing 5 out of 6 consecutive weekends or something odd like that (Black Mountain Madness, Iron Horse Half, off, Detroit Half, Iceman, LSC Half, and then Turkey Trot). I had wanted to work the swim start so that I would be down at the start, give back and be part of the event, but then be done early so that I could go out on the course and do what I wanted to do.
