I read the book “It Starts with the Egg.” Others in my online infertility community recommended it as a helpful, well-researched book. Chronic Illness and Infertility. June 30, 2015. IVF Round 2 Update: Egg Retrieval. I am now status-post egg retrieval. I did my trigger shot at 7:30pm on Sunday night. I was very glad to have reached the end of the injection phase- it was a lot of shots this cycle! I remember shaking a little the first time I did the IVF trigger, but no shakes this time. While those procedures didn’t result in a successful pregnancy for me, I still felt grateful receiving the bill. I can feel every bump and movement and peeing is painful and today the re started me on antibiotics as she thinks I have an infection from the nick. I had my usual acupuncture before and after and transfer went fairly smoothly especially as I couldn’t go for a full bladder as it causes to much pain. July 29, 2015. We passed the three beta test with flying colors….YIPEE! Tomorrow I will be 6 weeks pregnant. The last 2 pregnancies, I’ve lost at this time. If I can make it to August 7th, I think we will be good to go. I’m so ready to hit the 3 month mark and able to get back on it. July 13, 2015. Yayyyyyy my schedule has arrived Omg this makes it so real, and a week today I officially start my meds. Of course nothing runs smoothly, as they have got my cycle day 1- wrong and put me down as the 29th instead of the 30th, hopefully this doesn’t mess up the scan dates (always me) I will have to call them this morning and advise them of the error. July 22, 2015. Went in for Beta #3 this morning and it was a struggle to get out of bed this morning. I had to get up a few times (I lost track) to go to the bathroom and the struggle was real. Haha.
