July 4, 2009. I started with tossing colored fabric on my design table until I saw a combination that visually worked. The base fabric is a over dyed commercial fabric. Most of the notes are hand dyed with some having printed fabric. All the pieces were fused down. Module 3 : Line and Form in Spirals. July 4, 2009. Evaluation of the Assessment Piece. The completed embroidered assessment piece for Module 3 is a broach based on the design topic of DNA spirals. How do you feel about the resulting conclusion?

Sunday Share 24. 5.15. I know exactly ...

Saturday, June 29, 2013. Back From the Arctic. Two weeks ago today I was flying from Oslo, Norway to Longyearbyen, the largest town in Svalbard, an archipelago off the coast of Norway. I never quite absorbed exactly where Longyearbyen and Svalbard were until it was mentioned in our first group meeting in Oslo that our charter flight from Oslo to Longyearbyen would be three hours in length. Three hours? I can fly from Rochester, NY to Chicago in less than two! Our last photo of Seva, just a month ago.
