Friday, May 10, 2013. How come it is so easy for me? How could I possibly ever know what she is going through? She doesn't even know me, but she is resentful of me and my ease. The woman quickly glances around between swings and jabs at her cheeks as she hefts the overwhelmed boy away. She is looking for someone. Another mother, perhaps. Someone who will be looking back at her knowingly. She doesn't find her, but she moves forward into the evening faithful that she will meet her someday. I am a writer.

Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Where has Life with Luca gone? So life with Luca and Gianna has been SO wonderful but having two kids and working full time has kept me seriously busy! Our weekends have been super busy, and lately I'm having to tell myself to slow down and just enjoy the chaos. I absolutely love living so close to my husband's family, because the past few weekends we've been able to get the cousins together and it's hysterical watching them run through the sprinklers and just laugh together.
