She also brought some yummy cakes for Mum and Dad and some even yummier treats for Duggie, Fergus, Max and me! Merlin and I also did some 'work' together. We practised sitting, staying, recalls, walking to heel and I also did some retrieves. Normally Merlin and I just play together, I'm not sure what we were practising these things for but Mum said I will find out on Saturday! Saturday, 18 February 2012.

Saturday, 30 July 2011. I am now 15 weeks old and weigh 10.3kg. I have outgrown my first collar and so Mum took me to the pet shop in the village today for a new one - a size 3. I really liked the lady in the pet shop - she gave me a gravy bone! Wednesday, 27 July 2011. Sunday, 24 July 2011. Then we went outside again on our leads and did some walking and sitting! After coffee break (that's coffee for Mum and Dad, water for me! After a final rush around with the English Springers it was time to head home...

Wednesday, 29 June 2011. A lesson with Fergus. Today I have been practicing how to walk on a lead. This was my second go at this, and I remembered that if I walk nicely next to Mum and don't chew the lead, she says "heel" and I get a treat! How good is that! I wish we could practice this more often as I love treats! Fergus told me he really enjoyed teaching me this because normally he doesn't get a treat for doing things that are so easy! Friday, 10 February 2012. I am not sure what is going on but Mum has spent most of the last few days moving things from the kitchen into the conservatory. The kitchen is nearly empty now but thankfully our crates are still by the radiator! Even stranger, lots and lots of boxes have been delivered this afternoon. They have all been put in the dining room and we have not even been allowed to go and sniff them to smell what's inside. Fergus and I weren't even allowed to help the delivery men!

So today saw the team back where they started from last week - Kirkby Stephen - having walked a very impressive 82 miles from St Bees in what can be said to have been every sort of weather except snow I think. Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Murphy and I had a great time yesterday when we met Aunty Debbie and Fergus for a walk in the woods at Woodhall. We hadn't been there for ages, so it was great to have a god run around . and Fergus and I certainly did that as well as some 'very nice walking to heel off lead' (Aunty Debbie's words)!
