Monday, June 22, 2015. Father's Day and "Can You Beat the Daddy 4.0". Every year Rich wants to downplay Father's Day but I can't imagine not celebrating this terrific dad. In what has become a true tradition, Rich received the "Can You Beat the Daddy" box filled with a new batch of Minute to Win It games. This year is was Kids vs. Dad. Game #1: Bite Me. Game #2: Pink Elephant. Rich redeemed himself with this game because he was the only one able to stack the slinky on his forehead without using his hands.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. Celebrating #7 all week! Last week was T's 7th birthday and we celebrated all week long. On his actual birthday he got his breakfast choice (welsh cakes) and dinner choice (hamburgers) but that was about the extent of his birthday celebration because Rich was out of town and we were waiting to celebrate until he returned. While daddy was out of town we did hold a "friends party". And what birthday celebration would be complete without a few presents to open. Our T is growing up!

Sunday, November 30, 2014. No Charlie Brown tree for us! Did you know that Oregon has more acreage devoted to Christmas tree farming than any other state? Just a little piece of Christmas tree trivia for you). So it is almost embarrassing to admit that for the past four years we have resided in the heart of Christmas tree country and have had fake trees. FINALLY this was our year to make that right and we went out to CUT DOWN OUR OWN TREE! The decision of what tree to get was tough. But we didn't give up.

She is running on the 4x100 team as well as running the 400m and the 200m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Here's what we've been doing with it! During Spring Break we visited Hill Air Force Base Museum. I was told I needed to get the entire plane in the picture. I promise my kids are in the picture too! The Boy liked the gun the best, should I be worried? The Queen liked this plane best because it had an "A" on it. Yeah, we like M*A*S*H. We also saw the Art of the Brick (Lego) exhibit at the Kimball Arts Center in Park City. This one was my favorite, so cool! The Bookshelf of Emily J.

Saturday, May 28, 2011. So after my post on everyone being sick, everyone got sicker :) The girls both came down with fevers. Sam got an ear infection, ruptured an eardrum, and then had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Viv had the stomach flu for 5 days, and Rob had it for 2 (then he took step 3 of his boards- and passed! Everyone is fine now, knock on wood! Friday, March 11, 2011. This is sick Sam, sleeping on his shark pillow and snuggling with his favorite bunny that was actually mine when I was little, and he also has to have his puppy in bed, and his puppy flashlight. And 2 blankets. Right now he has a big red patch on his cheek from where he wipes his nose across his face. Gross. Even though I hate to be hot, I might have to add Phoenix to the list of places I'd be willing to live- goodbye snow shovels and mittens and runny noses.
