A Mom and Her Boy. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Saturday night, after my dad's birthday party, I was sitting on the couch vegging. I was thinking how tired I was and almost about to call it a night. I began thinking about Easter morning, and then all the sudden I am in PANIC mode. I FORGOT ABOUT DYING EASTER EGGS! I must say, it was a fairly short and sweet dying job, but none the less, it was a lot of fun and Carter still loved it. Dad Turns The Big 60! Last Saturday we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday.

A Mom and Her Boy. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. This summer we have had a little pack of us that do late night adventures. This has definitely become one of my favorite things of this summer and I look forward to us all getting together at least weekly. So, this is our group. We have Jacque, my niece. Then there is Marissa, Jacques friend who is classic with coming up with what we call "Marissa-isms.". Ty is our young male who keeps us all in order. Brad has joined us a few times. Wednesday, October 23, 2013. I've been wanting to go apple picking ever since the weather turned fall-ish. I thought it would be fun for the kids, and I've also been craving apple pie. :). Unfortunately, even though Washington is famous for apples, the closest apple picking place is almost two hours away! Yesterday, we loaded up and drove the two hours. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Weekly Recap: Spy exhibit, painted piggies, and first night in the crib! Look at me. remembering the weekly recap two weeks in a row! Maybe this will actually work. ;). Asher started indoor soccer this week. Evan has done a few different sports over the years, but this is Asher's first time to do something. He was super excited and he did great! Sunday, January 5, 2014. Christmas felt extra special this year with our new little bundle of joy added into the mix. There's just something about a snuggly, sweet newborn that makes everything seem more cozy. The excitement of the older kids really made the day, too. When we got home, we opened our traditional Christmas Eve jammies. This picture cracks me up. Asher opening his new basketball shorts (I love that he's wearing his sleeping mask. lol).
