Monday, March 16, 2015. San Diego. a whale's? Like several football fields long. We checked into our hotel and then went over to visit Kate and the family. The kids played and it was so awesome to see Ella crawling! The next morning we went to the San Diego Zoo. The kids loved it! After the Zoo, we headed over to Point Loma. Saturday, August 31, 2013. At last minute, we bought Texas A&M football tickets to their season opener against Rice. We loaded up early in the morning, watched the game at noon, ate at Freebirds, and then headed home. Long day! TAMU ended up winning 52-31, whoop! Monday, August 26, 2013. Holland's 1st day of Kindergarten! Holland started Kindergarten today! When we left, Holland had just moved her name to brought your lunch side. She loved it! Thursday, August 15, 2013. Monday, April 6, 2015. Easter, Easter, and more Easter. Easter this year was on steroids or so it seemed to be to Kirk and I. I think we had 6 egg hunts to attend. I was in charge of Holland's class and school wide egg hunt and that was insane getting ready for it. First up was the church egg hunt. Family, friends, and good fun! Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Christmas morning the girls were very excited to receive the vanities they wanted from Santa. Holland wanted the Ariel vanity and Britton wanted the Sofia vanity. Both girls pretended to do their hair and put on makeup. After we had Christmas morning at our house, we took the girls over to our new house for their big gift from us. a pink playhouse! Thursday, March 28, 2013. Easter Party and Egg Hunt. For Holland's School Easter Party, I signed up to bring the treats. I searched pinterest and found several items I wanted to make. I just didn't have enough time! I ended up making bags for each child that had a peep pop, bunny bait, goldfish carrot, and a pink lemonade cupcake. Holland had a blast at the party and egg hunt. Thursday, May 23, 2013. Holland's last day of PK was bittersweet for me. She's matured and grown so much, but now she will be in school full time and not my little preschooler. I cried. She loves all her friends in class, but she may not see some of them next year. Here she is at her last day of school. Graduation made me cry even more. Holland did great.
