Thursday, October 11, 2012. Happy Birthday, Chris! Chris had a birthday on October 1. The kids and I were leaving to go out of town the morning of his birthday so we celebrated the day before. As exciting as birthday's get when you're in your 30's, we had peanut butter pie and some presents. Wouldn't you be excited to get a leaf blower? Sunday, January 29, 2012. Simon loves to sing Jesus Loves Me or in his case Yes Me. We sing it a lot of times before bed. We sing it in the car on one of his cds. We sing it while watching one of his dvds. And on this particular day he crawled up to the piano to sing it with Mimi! It touches my heart to hear him sing along such a simple promise that Jesus loves Simon! Saturday, January 21, 2012. We had one random days of snow back in October and haven't had any since then! Thursday, October 4, 2012. A Line of Shoes. So I'm pretty proud that my little guy learned very quickly to line his shoes up by the laundry room door when he takes them off (which happens immediately after stepping into the house). I think I told him two times where to put his shoes and this is what resulted! I love how he puts one on each end. Monday, April 16, 2012. I found this little guy in the dryer the other day. It was fun when I actually was able to see him get in and out by himself. What a little monkey! Saturday, April 14, 2012. This will get more fun as the years go by but Simon liked it this year! He really liked making blue eggs and putting stickers on them. We only did 7 eggs because I'm the only one who eats them! Saturday, March 31, 2012. Simon at times loves to try to put clothes on by himself. For instance the alligator shoes - the one pair of shoes he can pretty much do by himself. So they are often a popular choice around the house. Then the camo jammies - he put those on all by himself too. From the back he looked like a superhero when he would run through the house! Hey, whatever floats your boat, kid! Friday, March 30, 2012. Happy Birthday to Me! How am I 32 already? I guess not so much. It was a hit!

Wednesday, October 17, 2012. I'm not sure when it started but a few years back my dad (Papa to the grandkids) starting having campfires, S'mores, tenting out, etc. with my niece and nephew who are now 10 and 8. Eventually Camp Papa got bigger and Papa would take the kids to the cabin and explore in the woods, ride 4-wheelers, build fires and pee outside! Well this year Papa and Mimi invited ALL 6 grandkids (ages 10, 8, 5, 2 and two babies), myself and my sis-in-law to Camp Papa at the cabin. Happy Birthd...
