Douglas County Canine Rescue was founded in 2014 by Rebecca Waldrop and Jaime Hurd. Both gals are passionate about saving dogs. Rebecca and Jaime are both furmamas to several fuzzy children. All of our adoptions are done at weekly adoption events. Events are first come, first serve and we do not put holds on dogs. All of our dogs are in foster homes since we do not have a facility so they will arrive at the event when their foster brings them. You can fill out an adoption application.
