This is a week overdue, but we wanted to let everyone know the fantastic news! On December 2nd at 4:12 am we welcomed Katelyn Samantha Douglas into our family! She weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and measured 19 1/4 inches long! She is a great addition to our family! The boys are adjusting pretty well to having Katelyn with us!

Bryce's class is spending the week at the local zoo and learning a lot about the animals behind the scenes. He came home yesterday and reported he got to pet a rhino. The funniest part was that he said the rhino was "gentle and cuddley." That's not really what I picture when I think of a rhino! We don't want to scare the eagles?

I just want to see my husband relax again and actually be mentally present when I am having a conversation with him. I get so worried about him. Sometimes I just want to scream "it's enough! I just have to keep reminding myself that we have made it this far and we only have 7 1/2 months to go. Piece of cake! Why is it that the closer you get to some much anticipated event the slower time seems to go?

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. The Best Bus Driver Ever! He has asked every morning since if today is the day he gets to go on the bus with the kids. Well the day finally came! We got up this morning and ALL got dressed to go to school. The bus pulled up and he went running! We drove up to the school and hung out on the bus until all the kids were off and then sat talking to Miss Kathy while we waited for the buses in front of us to pull out. Then Miss Kathy drove us back home. How cool is that!
