http://slmullen.blogspot.com/2010/08/saguaro-national-park.html
Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Saguaro National Park in Arizona is divided into two districts separated by the city of Tucson. To the west is the Tucson Mountain District, which has a desert environment. To the east is the Rincon Mountain District, which has both desert and mountain environments complete with pine trees at the higher elevations. My visits to Saguaro National Park always include the Tucson Mountain District. The Rincon Mountain District. Is not as fun to drive to as the Tucson Mountain Distr...

Sunday, September 12, 2010. My New Favorite National Park. For years, I've been hesitating when asked to name my favorite National Park. I usually name three: Yellowstone, Olympic, and Glacier. No longer. After my recent second trip to Glacier, I can now say that my favorite is Glacier National Park. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Me on the Web. Thursday, February 17, 2011. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail. AT) has been the subject of many books recounting peoples' experiences on the trail. About a year ago, I talked about the excellent books, Southbound. By the Barefoot Sisters (jackrabbit and Isis). I have read several others since then, some good, some just okay. For pictures beyond what is included in this post, see my Flickr page. And my Blurb book. Early Monday morning I headed to Many Glacier. To the Grinnell Glacier overlook.

Monday, April 12, 2010. The Appalachian Trail, officially the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. An outstanding example of such a book is The Barefoot Sisters: Southbound. To make matters even better, the last words of the book are "To be continued." Yes folks, as they approached Georgia they decided to hike back to Maine when they finished, or yo-yo. The second book, The Barefoot Sisters: Walking Home. Is on its way to me even as I write this. I can't wait. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Design is more than how it works, it's how it integrates with and changes your life. Like most personal websites, this site is about me. Unlike most of those sites, this is a place for me to play with what I know and what I want to know, mostly the latter. Expect the occasional bit of weirdness.
