Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Here is what we've been up to:. We had 5 yards of dirt and some sod delivered and felt like true homeowners as we got our yard ready for landscaping (hopefully we'll get to that in the fall! We had a visit from Joe and Diana and had a fun filled few days of playing with the kids, shopping, and visiting wine country. We have been enjoying Elsie's goofy, happy personality and lots of playtime in the backyard. We played in the sprinklers during a short heat wave. Ryan and Jennie Kay.

Monday, August 15, 2011. July marked the end of Matt's 3rd year of residency and hopefully the start of seeing him a lot more! He has started his 4th and final year (woohoo! Off with a month in the ER at Kaiser. I'm quite sure we might have already seen him more in the last 2 weeks than we did all of last month! Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Haddon's personality continues to become more defined everyday. He continues to be very happy and it is very easy to get him to give you big smiles. His eyes are in the process of changing from blue to brown. We still aren't really sure what color his eyes will end up as Kara is hazel and I am brown but both of us have blue in our families. Monday, January 17, 2011. Haddon woke up ready for Christmas week with some awesome bedhead. Kara's parents arrived Dec. 23rd and then the rest of the Wick family followed on Dec. 26th. We spent an afternoon in San Francisco. Here are Tahlia, Mikaela and Brooklynn at the end of Pier 39. Here are all the kids over by Ghirardelli Square. Saturday, October 23, 2010. We are late posting some of these pictures. Here are a few more pictures from Haddon's birthday weekend. He received this great truck from Ryan and JK. He loves it. Here is Haddon eating his birthday (cup)cake. Here he is at the ice cream place with his grandpa. Haddon loves water and playing in it. We went on a vacation down to Monterey and Big Sur. This is a famous bridge on highway 1 named Bixby Bridge. It is quite an engineering accomplishment. Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.

Friday, March 18, 2011. In Case Anyone Still Follows Our Blog. It's been a while since we've blogged and Haddon is sick with a cold and fever and it has been raining for days so since we're stuck inside it seemed like a good time! We have been busy with daily life but wouldn't change anything (well, we would love a few more days off for Matt). God is good and we are thankful! We are waiting for our baby girl to get here and hoping she will be home in 3-8 weeks! Can't wait to hold her. Ryan and Jennie Kay.

Monday, December 12, 2011. Finally an update.again. So, my super awesome idea of using Picasa to upload pictures to our blog turned out to be pretty much one big, time wasting idea. On another note we updated our blogger and found out where all our page views come from. We've had 14 random views from the Netherlands so apparently we've gone international! Now, onto the pictures and update from August to now. What do you get a 2 year old who is obsessed with tools, yard equipment and all things mechanical?

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Haddon celebrated his first birthday today! This truck was his first present from us, and he liked pushing it around. He really enjoyed his new bath toy. Thanks Aunt Donna. Also a great shirt. We then let him eat a cupcake. He will have his birthday cake on Saturday when Kara's parents are here, pics to come. He also played in the sprinkler today. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. May has been a month of celebrating, renovating and working! We have been super busy (I'm realizing I always say this though! And it isn't looking like the craziness will slow down anytime soon. Haddon is now officially crawling and pulling himself up to standing. I know a lot of people find this stage to be exhausting, but so far I am loving it!
