Visualcy: December 2012
http://visualcy.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 24, 2012. The seed of the woman is now born. The seed protected from life’s storm. Through flood and famine, war, and strife. God preserved His promise of new life. All history has bowed its knee. To the Father’s sovereign strategy. The scarlet thread has given rise. To the Savior who was prophesied. The Word made flesh has dwelt among us. So that He might dwell within us. And that, my friends is glorious. That, my friends is glorious. Now he comes in human form to us. Genesis 3, John 1.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. The Glory of Grace. Oh the depths of love in the Father for the Son. Oh His all surpassing joy to see Christ’s Kingdom come. Oh the blessedness of those whom in Him are placed. For here in the Beloved we taste. the glory of Grace. Oh the mighty work by which Wrath was satisfied. Power of perfection that has died. Oh to be raised again, our sentence to erase. Now Here in the Beloved, we taste… the glory of Grace. Oh, this is but a foretaste, it is but a glimpse. Rains down on dust.

Visualcy: April 2014
http://visualcy.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. The weight of this world can never compare. To the weight of the Glory in which we have a share. Now all of our suffering and every loss. Is redeemed by the beautiful grace of the cross. Always glory, always praise. Will spring from our hearts for all our days. Transformed from one glory and into the next. Now assurance remains where once we were perplexed. The source, aim, and purpose of creation we see,. For everything changes when we bend the knee. Always glory, always praise.

Visualcy: Peaceable and Precious Fruit
http://visualcy.blogspot.com/2014/08/peaceable-and-precious-fruit.html
Monday, August 18, 2014. Peaceable and Precious Fruit. We flee the furious fruit that Adam ate. And pursue the righteousness that is our fate. We are found in the holy One we confess. He makes us the fruit of righteousness. Fruit of the tree of life. Oh taste of the Spirit’s fruit. Springing from the righteous root. Peaceable and Precious fruit. Growing on the living vine. Flowing from one righteous root. This is the vinedresser’s design. A fruit that is to be consumed. Fruit of the tree of life.

Visualcy: January 2014
http://visualcy.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 21, 2014. As joy permeates this place. With a smile on every face. Come before His presence. Come and joyfully sing. This is the command. Of our Lord and King. Know that the Lord, He is God. Know that the Lord, He is God. He is our maker, our creator. We are his people, the sheep of His pasture. Grounded in this Truth forever. Know that the Lord, He is God. Enter in with praise. The temple gates are now our hearts. Oh give thanks to Him. Oh bless His name. The Lord is good.

Sunday, December 29, 2013. Paradox of the Presence. Why are you so Gracious. Why are we so blessed? To have your face to shine upon us. The destination of life’s quest. There we find abundant rest. This is the eternal essence. Of the deep desire we bear. To abide within your presence. To be ne’re. Cast out from there. The answer to our very prayer. We partake of endless mercies. Stand faultless before the throne. Clothed in robes of righteousness. Woven by wounded hands alone. We cannot stay secluded.

Visualcy: My Father’s Hands
http://visualcy.blogspot.com/2015/01/my-fathers-hands.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. My Father’s Hands. My father’s hands were the paws of a bear. Large and thick and calloused when I was young. With chunks of nails he cleaned with his pocket knife. He loved to trade knives at the factory. I still have the knife as a memoriam. His bulky biceps were too large to fit cleanly in his shirts. My mother would refit the sleeves and let them out. And he would roll them up. When I was a child he placed his pack of cigarettes in the fold. Sardines and cottage cheese.

Monday, August 10, 2015. I just finished working on the first draft of the documentation for my sister in law's application for the DAR and in the process was edified and my mind directed toward the social events of my family that have shaped its character through the centuries. As a tribute, here are the thirty Patriots (15 Smith/15 Foster) in our Smith and Foster lines:. Wynant Van Der Poel. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Psalm 1900 (now searchable).
