http://www.trailzenner.com/2013/01/ouachita-switchbacks-trail-race-report.html
Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Ouachita Switchbacks Trail Race Report. Yes, Oklahoma has mountains! Big, beautiful mountains. 2013 was the inaugural Ouachita Switchbacks 25K and 50K. Trail run and lucky me, I got to be a part of it! The Ouachita National Forest. Covers 1.8 million acres in central Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma and is where you can find one of the prettiest trails I've ever seen, the Ouachita Trail. View from our cabin before the race. I could get used to that. Miles 0-4 were rolling, pi...

Monday, January 6, 2014. Running Through Sickness And In Health. 2013 was my lowest mileage year in, well.I don't know how long. After running 50 miles at Rocky Raccoon. Come back and my ANA test. What does this mean for long distance running? This past year has taken me on a journey of exploring a different way of eating and I will share that soon as I'm still figuring all of that out. For now I'm eating Paleo. To see if I see any positive results and can identify any food allergies or triggers with that.

Sunday, December 11, 2011. Isle du Bois 50K Race Report. The first annual Isle du Bois trail race. Was held on December 10, 2011. I truly can NOT even say enough for how much fun this race was and how superb Endurance Buzz Adventures. Did in putting on this event! It was a cup free race so everyone was told to bring their own water bottle or hydration system. Love it! Brance, Mike and I before the race. Hugs from both of them, hot broth, oranges, bananas, potato chips, peanut M&M's and pretzels. I st...

Trailzenner : Angel Fire Endurance Run Race Report
http://www.trailzenner.com/2012/07/angel-fire-endurance-run-race-report.html
Monday, July 2, 2012. Angel Fire Endurance Run Race Report. The hardest part about starting a race report for me is the actual starting. Once I get going and the memories from the mileage start flooding back, it's just a matter of trying to type as fast as I'm thinking. Right now it's all so fresh and I'm still tired from traveling home yesterday but I'll try to put my thoughts down in a way that makes some sense, before I forget anything. Angel Fire Endurance Run. We arrived at the Angel Fire Lodge.

Trailzenner : Lupus

Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Being an ultra runner has felt like such a part of my identity the past few years. I thrived on pushing my body harder and going longer and longer distances. When I started showing signs of fatigue and burnout early in 2013 during Rocky Raccoon 50-mile. So along life's journey these things come up.and now I need to adjust my goals and prioritize. And that's okay! I can still run, albeit not as far or fast. But I can run! I'll try to share my journey here. Running with lupu...

Where I do it all. What have I gotten myself into? Run Rabbit Run image from http:/ www.ragingbunnies.net/. I’m training for my first 50 miler. Okay, over the initial craziness. How the hell do I make this happen? Some background if you don’t know me. How did I get to the point where I decided 50 miles was a good idea? In Colorado: som...
